With approximately 105,000 electric cars on the road and 4,500 electric vans on the road in Britain (as of July 2017 according to nextgreencar.com) with this number set to surge. There are, however, just 13,000 charging points in the UK.
Due to the rising numbers of electric cars on UK streets, it’s becoming more and more common place for business and homes to have car charging points installed. There are even government grants available for doing so. From a business point of view, having a charge point at the workplace will be increasingly important as a facility for employees and visitors in the next few years.
